We Are So Grateful!

Gratitude is the magnet that brings more of what we are grateful for into our lives!

** A few months ago, an incredible man and his wife — who wish to remain anonymous — embraced Footsteps to the Future in a magnanimous way. They donated five pre-owned vehicles to our Vehicle Donation Program. This program awards cars to young women in Footsteps. To qualify, they must have a driver’s license, a steady job, be attending school, and have saved $500 for vehicle maintenance. Our generous benefactors also made a significant financial donation to help support our ongoing vision. These funds will enable Footsteps to move forward with our Transitional Living Program and to continue to do the work that is so vital to the success of our young women. We Are So Grateful!

** Last month, we welcomed and trained five new mentors to our Mentoring Program. Each one of them has already proven to be incredible additions to our growing family of dedicated volunteers. We Are So Grateful!

** Within the past two months, nine young women in foster care have joined Footsteps, and we received four referrals from The Children’s Network. We Are So Grateful!
